Back to winning ways, playoffs in 2023
The Cyclones went back to the playoffs, felt they were in every game and had a strong team from starters to the bench this season, all reminiscent of the program pre-COVID.

Final regular season win before playoffs
As the regular season winds down, the Cyclones need every win to help them in the NJCAA Region 4 playoffs. They did just that with a 5-2 victory over the No. 2 team in the region, Illinois Valley Community College.
Nice win at home
Cyclones men’s soccer was in control and took a 4-2 victory over South Suburban College at home.
Tough loss at home
On a windy day, the Cyclones were unable to keep the win at home from Oakton Community College.
Win on the road
On a cool Sunday evening, the Cyclones grabbed another win Oct. 8 against Madison College.
Heading north with the women’s team, the Cyclones were able to get the 2-1 edge thanks to goals from Kosta Latka (assist from Yael Diaz) and Orlando Ojeda both in the first half. Moraine Valley held the WolfPack offense until early in the second half when they finally scored.
This was anyone’s game as both teams played consistently. Each took five shots, and the Cyclones had five corner kicks to four from the WolfPack. Keeper Rylan Decker had two saves this game.
Deadlock with Falcons
The Cyclones played a gutsy game with Truman College, ending in a 0-0 deadlock.
Starting month on a good foot
The Cyclones started the month on a good foot, defeating Elgin Community College 3-1.
Back to business
The Cyclones bounced back with a 6-2 victory over the McHenry County College Scots.
Cyclones lose heartbreaker to Pioneers
For 90 minutes, the Cyclones put in the fight and effort against the reigning national championship Prairie State College Pioneers. They lost a heartbreaker, 2-1.

It’s been six long years since the Cyclones defeated the mighty Morton College Panthers, but they were able to shut them out at home.

In their second Skyway Conference match of the season, the Cyclones were able to hold on to a win, going 4-2 over the College of Lake County Lancers.
