The Cyclones brought home a big conference win, defeating Oakton Community College 3-2.

Even with several starters still out and more freshmen on the field, this was another solid team victory for the Cyclones. Going up 3-0 early, Moraine Valley became a little overconfident and allowed the Owls to get two in the net. But the defense held on for the first Skyway win.

"It's still a very important win to start the conference season. The freshmen are still adjusting, but it was great to get the win. We'll get better as the season progresses," said Head Coach Chris Koloffon.
