The Cyclones started the month on a good foot, defeating Elgin Community College 3-1.

This wasn't a game of pure domination, as the Spartans had at least seven shots on goal to the Cyclones' 11, but Moraine Valley played consistent. Yamir Gallegos scored first in the 17th minute, giving his team the lead through halftime. The Cyclones extended their lead when Akram Ouarerhni scored with 16:29 remaining and then Orlando Ojeda scored two minutes later. The team's defense held the Spartans off until the final 12 minutes when they got one in the net, but it wasn't enough as the Cyclones tacked on another conference victory.
