In the battle between father and son, pops won out. The Cyclones' Head Coach TJ Donahue saw his team face Daley College, which is coached by his son. Moraine Valley prevailed in dominating fashion, winning the matchup at home 9-0.
It was all Cyclones from the start. When they reached halftime, they were up 8-0. Fernando Alvarez earned the hat trick while Michael Strama and Israel Contreras each had two. Jesus Martinez and Mohammed Ramahi each scored one. Connor Baker had the shutout in the net.
