In the battle between two undefeated, nationally ranked teams fighting for the top spot in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference, neither could get on the board settling for a 0-0 deadlock.
As of this week in the NJCAA Division II, Prairie State College is ranked No. 12 and the Cyclones just earned a spot at No. 18. Moraine Valley has been undefeated so far this season and was anxious to face last year's national champions. The Cyclones had a few close calls to score, but nothing landed. Conversely, they didn't give an inch to the Pioneers, holding them scoreless thanks in part to the goalkeeping skills of Rylan Decker. The battle was fierce, even after the Pioneers got a red card nearly 40 minutes into the first half.
