A season full of individual and team success
The Cyclones have plenty to be proud of this season between team and individual accolades.
Heartbreak in region finals
The No. 3 seeded Cyclones returned to the NJCAA Region 4 finals to face off against a tough No. 7 seed Sandburg College. This could have been anyone’s game, but the Cyclones just ran out of time in the 3-2 (20-25, 25-23, 24-26, 25-20, 10-15) loss.
Cyclones best Gold Eagles in semis
When No. 3 seed Moraine Valley faced No. 6 seed Rock Valley College in the Region 4 semifinals, they both knew it would be a battle. And it was through five sets, where the Cyclones came out ahead (25-23, 25-18, 16-25, 21-25, 15-13).
Zielinski earns 1,000th kill in quarterfinal victory
The Cyclones made quick work of Illinois Valley Community College in the NJCAA Region 4 quarterfinals, defeating the Eagles 3-0.

The Cyclones continued their winning ways with a 3-0 victory over the University of Saint Francis JV.
Another home victory
Even though the matchup was close, the Cyclones still took a 3-0 win from Madison College at home.
Long weekend at Heartland Invite
It was a tough weekend for the Cyclones at the Heartland Invitational (Oct. 11-12) as they went 1-3 overall and faced three nationally ranked teams.
Back to business
The Cyclones dominated their final Skyway Conference match play of the season with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-18) victory over the visiting Morton College Panthers.
Heartbreaker at home
After asserting their dominance the last six weeks, the Cyclones were ready to faceoff with conference rival and fellow ranked team McHenry County College. Both teams wanted this victory, but it just came down to errors and final points that decided the victor after five long sets (21-25, 25-22, 25-21, 22-25, 16-18).
Cyclones finish 3-1 at Parkland Invitational
After a long two days playing some nationally ranked teams at the Parkland Invitational, the Cyclones ended the tournament 3-1.
