Omar Barragan started the Cyclone offense rolling around the 15-minute mark for his first college goal. He scored a second one 11 minutes later, but not before Daniel Kasaggoma added one of his own. Kasaggoma added a second goal in the second half with two more coming from Connor Gountounas and Milton Velastegui. The Pioneers were able to score in the 75th minute, but the Cyclone defense wouldn't allow more than that. Assists came from Bryan Gonzalez, Fernando Alvarez, Romaric Lawson, and Gustavo Flores, who also had eight saves in the net.
