Before their season opener Aug. 25, the Cyclones knew their first games on the road would set the tone for the rest of the year. So far so good. They won their first match 2-1 over Lincoln Land Community College.
The game was scoreless until the 25th minute when the Loggers put one in the net. Moraine Valley came back between the 30 and 35th minute to score two—one by Romaric Lawson and game winner by Fernando Alvarez.
