In their final Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference match of the season, the Cyclones were in a must-win situation with the visiting Oakton Community College Owls. Their offense showed up for a big 6-0 victory.

The battle between the two started out steadily. The Cyclones scored first after nine minutes with a header in the right corner. Keeper Andruw Martinez made some saves before the Owls shuffled one past him 15 minutes later to tie it 1-1. With 12 minutes remaining in the first half, Fernando Barragan broke away and shot one past the keeper to put his team up 2-1 by halftime.

Once the second half started, the Cyclones just couldn't stop scoring. They gradually added four more goals and shut down the Owls' offense for the win.
