Cyclones holding open tryouts
After a successful year on the courts, Cyclones women’s tennis is looking to restock its roster for the fall season by holding tryouts.
Big accomplishments define women's tennis season
After a successful fall, complete with an Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference and NJCAA Region 4 championship, the Cyclones women’s tennis team completed their season at the NJCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Championship in Tyler, Texas, May 3-5, finishing the tournament in 25th place overall.

From player to head coach
Simona Tomczak comes from an athletic family. Her mother was a professional volleyball player, and her father played pro soccer in Poland. Sports and athletic discipline was a part of life growing up, and Tomczak is bringing that mentality to the women's tennis head coach position.

We are the champions. The Cyclones women’s tennis team reclaimed the NJCAA Region 4 championship after a solid performance over two days on their home courts (Oct. 11-12).

In their final regular season match, the Cyclones maintained perfection with their eighth consecutive victory, this time coming over Illinois Valley Community College. The Cyclones are undefeated this season going into the Region 4 tournament.

In the battle of two undefeated teams, this was the match to determine who would reign supreme over the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference. The Cyclones came out ahead of the McHenry County College Scots 6-3.

The Cyclones continue to steamroll their opponents, earning a fourth straight sweep, this time over Sauk Valley Community College.

The Cyclones earned their third consecutive sweep with a 9-0 victory over College of DuPage.
Four in a row with win over Chiefs
Even after a battle at No. 2 singles, the Cyclones were still able to sweep conference rival Waubonsee Community College on the road in their fourth consecutive victory.

The Cyclones earned their first sweep of the season after going 9-0 over College of Lake County.
More wins at home
The Cyclones were back on the courts and solidified another victory, this time going 7-2 over the visiting Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers.
Home opener a success!
In their opening match, the Cyclones battled to an 8-1 victory over Elgin Community College.
