It took one half before the Cyclones stepped on the gas to shut out McHenry County College.

The game started off slow with neither team scoring despite some dangerous attempts by the Scots through halftime. The Cyclones demonstrated their stamina in the second half with a dominating offensive drive to break the game open. Fernando Barragan (Reavis) scored twice while Michael Strama and Declan Kelly (Chicago High School for Agricultural Science) each scored one goal. Goalkeeper Andruw Martinez (Morton West) kept the action tight at the net for the shut out.
