The Cyclones had their work cut out for them when they faced the No. 7 nationally ranked McHenry County College Scots. Moraine Valley fell 3-0 in the contest.

When the Cyclones needed to bring more pop to the court, they were unable to match the Scots in the loss: 19-25, 17-25, 16-25. Abby Sarich led with 14 kills and two blocks while Nicole Ramirez collected 19 assists and one ace.
