It's official. The nationally ranked Cyclones are Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference champions after a 3-1 victory over College of Lake County.

If the Cyclones had lost this match, they would have tied for the championship with Morton College, who they defeated on Sept. 28. With this, they completed a perfect conference record, going 6-0. Moraine Valley last dominated the conference in 2019.

In this latest victory, their fifth straight, Ava Porada led with 32 assists, two aces and 20 digs. She's currently ranked 17th in the NJCAA Division II for assists per set with an average 8.86. Kaila Butvilas added 12 kills while Takiyah Clark collected six kills and three blocks.

The Cyclones were ranked 19th in the NJCAA Division II this week and have seven more matches to go before playoffs begin.
