Going into the Parkland College Tournament (Oct. 28-29), the Cyclones were riding a confidence high with eight straight victories. They came out of the tough two-day battle 1-3.

The No. 14 nationally ranked Cyclones had it rough from the start on Oct. 28 as they faced the No. 1 ranked Parkland College Cobras. Although the first set was an adjustment, the other two saw the Cyclones stay close but unable to finish: 13-25, 24-26, 23-25. Ava Porada finished with 23 assists and 12 digs while Ava Theoharis led with 15 digs and Jaelyn Donald had 12 digs and nine kills.

Porada again led with 34 assists, and Condon led with 21 digs. Butvilas collected 14 kills and 14 digs while Theoharis added 17 digs. Takiyah Clark had 11 kills.

In their final match of the tournament, the Cyclones put down four close sets with Lincoln Land Community College, coming up just short when they had some chances: 19-25, 24-27, 25-23, 25-27. Condon had 29 digs, Butvilas collected 13 kills, Theoharis dug up 25 and Porada had 33 assists.
