As quickly as it started, the Cyclones' run at the national tournament was over. They entered the consolation bracket ranked No. 10 and fell to Cape Fear Community College (No. 15).

This wasn't the way the Cyclones wanted to end their trip to nationals, but Cape Fear had other ideas. Although they battled through five, the Cyclones lost in some tough sets: 25-15, 21-25, 20-25, 25-18, 9-15.

Ava Porada finished her time with the Cyclones amassing 26 assists and 11 digs. Jaelyn Donald led in digs with 17 while Brooklyn Condon had 15 and Kaila Butvilas collected 11. Condon also had 11 kills.

Overall, the Cyclones ended nationals tied for 13th place.
