The Cyclones wanted to avenge their loss last year to Sauk Valley Community College and did so in dominating fashion at home, 7-2.

Last season, the Cyclones dropped a 5-4 matchup with the Skyhawks, so this was a momentum-boosting victory. Moraine Valley swept all the singles matches as well as the No. 1 doubles slot. Head Coach Matt Marusarz said this avenged win bodes well for the team's chances at more championships this season.
