A few bounce-back victories helped the Cyclones edge past Sauk Valley Community College 5-4.

Brooke Zielke continued her winning streak at No. 1 singles after going down 0-3 in the first set. She cleared her head and bounced back to win 6-4, 6-1. Julie Andrist (No. 2 singles) won 6-1, 6-4 and Libby Newton (No. 5) also won after a long tiebreaker (6-4, 6-6, 5-7, 10-6). Zielke/Newton won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles while Serene Itani/Olivia Preston earned a hard-fought victory at No. 3 doubles (6-4, 6-6, 5-7, 11-9)

At No. 3 singles, Trisha Meyers fell (1-6, 4-6), Itani lost a tough tiebreaker at No. 4 (6-6, 7-5, 0-6) and Preston lost (1-6, 0-6) at No. 6. At No. 2 doubles, Andrist/Meyers pushed through a tiebreaker but lost 1-6, 7-5, 8-10.
