The Cyclones suffered a rough 8-1 loss to the McHenry County College Scots with the lone victory coming from a third set tiebreaker.

Facing a team with lots of depth and down a player, the Cyclones battled through the match at each position. Sophomore Julie Andrist at No. 1 singles lost her first set 0-6 but battled to win the second set 6-4. In the deciding third set tiebreaker, Andrist showed what she was made of and won 10-7 to prevent her team from being swept.
