The Cyclones battled through two days of tough competition and good tennis at their final major match of the season, the NJCAA Region IV Tournament held on their home courts. The team finished in fourth place.

Trisha Meyers at No. 3 singles as well as her No. 2 doubles match with partner Amanda Hess made it to the final championship rounds, both resulting in runners-up finishes. The doubles team defeated a talented College of Lake County pair in three sets to advance to the finals, where they ultimately fell to Sauk Valley in two sets. Hess at No. 4 and Nada Hinnawi at No. 6 each made it into consolation singles rounds, putting up battles as they competed. Hinnawi has had a number of long matches this season, including during this tournament when she defeated her Waubonsee opponent after nearly three hours of work. College of Lake County ultimately won the event.

"This region tournament helped show my players what they're really made of. They're definitely tough. They fought hard the whole way. Hannah had an amazing match and played her heart out. Nada is the best at having long matches and did so again to beat out Waubonsee," said Head Coach Matt Marusarz. "I'm very proud of this team and what we accomplished.
