Brooke Zielke remains undefeated at No. 1 singles after winning 6-2, 6-1. At No. 3, Trisha Meyers won (6-2, 6-2) as did her and partner Julie Andrist at No. 2 doubles (8-2). The normally solid No. 1 singles duo of Zielke and Libby Newton lost their first match of the season 6-8. Also suffering losses were Andrist at No. 2 singles (1-6, 4-6), Serene Itani at No. 4 (4-6, 3-6) and Newton at No. 5 (1-6, 6-2, 11-13). An injured player on the Chiefs gave the Cyclones two forfeits to earn the edge and victory.
