Chris Koloffon was named head coach of the Cyclone men’s soccer team in 2020 after serving as the assistant coach from 2016 to 2019. He brings a hefty amount of experience to lead the program.

Since 1998, Koloffon has been a men’s and women’s college soccer referee for the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA. In 1999, he was assistant men’s soccer coach at Saint Xavier University.

In addition to coaching, Koloffon has been the owner and director of International Football Club (Inter FC), a youth soccer club based in Palos Hills, since 1999. Inter FC has won one Illinois Youth Soccer Association State Cup (2009), has been a State Cup runner-up four times and in the Final Four nine times. The club also has qualified for US Club Soccer National Premier League finals three times (2015, 2018, 2019).

Koloffon graduated from Saint Xavier University after playing soccer there all four years (1994-97). He was a three-year team captain.
