As the only community college in a running field of NCAA Division III colleges, the Cyclones finished 8th out of 10 teams at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island.
This wasn't the strongest finish the Cyclones have had so far this season, but they stayed close with the competition over the 6K course.
Desiree Mendoza led the Cyclones, crossing the finish line in 32nd place out of 101 runners in 26:37.7. Coming in after her was Rylee Milenkovic (55th, 28:23.0), Annabel Lipkie (59th, 28:44.6), Mariah Karamagianis (69th, 29:31.9), Mia Villa (73rd, 29:46.9) and Hannah Raimbault (77th, 30:18.4).
