With two healthy and strong runners, the Cyclones ran solid races at the Earlybird Invitational at Eldridge Park in Elmhurst.

Out of 83 runners, Natalia Wrobel took 16th place in 17:22 and Olivia Wrobel finished in 31st place in 18:18. Natalia ran the sixth fastest time in Moraine Valley history.

"Natalia and Olivia ran very well. One of the main goals was to compete with everyone and not settle. I think they did a good job with that. They moved up and passed people throughout the race," said Head Coach Dimitri Dimizas. "As well as they did, this was still a learning experience. Next meet they move up to the 6K distance, so they'll need to continue to practice starting out controlled and fighting all the way to the end."
