Cyclones hold their own at Brissman-Lundeen Invite

In a field of NCAA Division III teams, the Cyclones held their own at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island. The men finished in 11th place and were the only community college at the competition.

It was a clear day with cooler temperatures and wind leading to some solid finishes in the 8K race, although it wasn't the best performance the Cyclones have had collectively this season due to some injuries.

Andrew Sima led the pack, finishing in 100th place out of 170 runners in 29:59.3. Crossing the line after him was Noah Rigoni-Kreczmer (108th, 30:31.7), Jacob Madera (133rd, 31:52.6), Brennan Rudolph (135th, 32:02.9), Joel Vargas-Cortes (143rd, 32:59.2), Demario Angarita (150th, 33:49.5), Jesse Correa (157th, 34:33.1) and Robert Slezak (164th, 36:42.2).
