Four Cyclones PR in Bradley Pink Classic

Three Cyclones ran personal bests at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, which was a nice tune-up before their championship races next weekend.

Only four Cyclones ran, meaning they couldn't score as a team, in order to preserve a healthy crew for next weekend. Suhayb Froukh was first across for Moraine Valley in 28:11 for a 59th place finish. Grant Wright (28:16.2, 61st), Carlos Galvan (28:16.4, 62nd) and Chris Santoyo (30:34, 94th) followed. Wright, Galvan and Santoyo each ran a PR with the latter shaving nearly two minutes off his previous best time.

"I didn't want to risk racing anyone who wasn't healthy, so we knew ahead of time that we would only have four runners. I was very happy with how those four ran! The best performance came from Chris. He PR'd by almost two minutes. He's still so new to this sport, so it's fun to watch him learn what he's capable of doing," said Head Coach Dimitri Dimizas.
