The Cyclones wanted to win this conference match badly, but they were outshot and settled into second place again at Oakton Community College's course, Heritage Oaks Golf Club, in Northbrook.

After edging out College of Lake County for first place in their last conference outing last week, the Cyclones were eager to continue those winning ways and attempt to win a conference championship. However, it was a rough day on a tough course that took 5.5 hours to complete. The Cyclones played hard, but the Lancers had a better day on the course by several strokes.
