For their fourth conference match of the season, the Cyclones played their collective best round of golf for a second place finish at Elgin Community College's Randall Oaks Golf Course.

Perfect weather was an added bonus to the Cyclones' 322 score, five strokes from first and 13 ahead of Oakton Community College in third. College of Lake County locked down the conference championship.

Freshman Marty Bennett finally broke through with a round in the 70s. He shot a 79 and tied overall for sixth place. Sophomore Mike Rollberg continued his streak and earned the lowest round of his career, breaking 80 for the first time with a 79 and sixth place tie. Both Paul Douglas and Akim Bizati had 82 while Patrick Clifton finished with 100.

Next week is the final conference match and will determine whether Moraine Valley or Oakton finish runner-up as they are currently locked in a tie.
