Whenever the Cyclones face Olive-Harvey College, it's a tough battle. In another close game, Moraine Valley defeated the Panthers 80-76.

Last year in both their matchups with the Panthers, the Cyclones lost in close contests, including the playoffs to end their season. This game was redemption. Both teams kept the score close the entire way, but Moraine Valley held a lead in the final 10 minutes thanks to contributions from everyone on the court.

Enari Thomas led the effort with 31 points (six assists), Javonte McKenzie collected 15 (six assists) and Luis Acevedo had 10. Davion Lawrence finished with 12 rebounds.
