Two-game loss to Scots

Two-game loss to Scots

The Cyclones played two with conference rival McHenry County College and came up short.

GAME ONE
The bats were stifled in the first 16-2 loss, as the Cyclones collected six hits to the Scots' 14.

Aiden Radtke (1-for-2) earned an RBI with a single in the first inning after Timothy O'Connell (1-for-2) singled and Alejandro Munoz (1-for-1) walked. Nicholas Haran (1-for-2) scored the other run in the third inning after hitting an RBI double to score Munoz. Caston Norris and Ryder Johnson each went 1-for-2 at the plate as well.

GAME TWO
The Cyclone bats were more consistent this game as they narrowly lost 8-7.

The Cyclones gave up too many runs in two consecutive innings and attempted to claw back in all but two innings, not getting quite past the hump. Andrew Phelan (3-for-5), O'Connell and Troy Vosburgh each earned 1 RBI while Munoz (1-for-4) had two. Radtke Norris and Johnson each had one hit this game as well.
