Cyclones take two

Cyclones take two

It was a sweep for the Cyclones as they took both games from Waubonsee Community College.

GAME ONE
It didn't take many hits, but the Cyclones were able to hold off the Chiefs for the 4-0 victory.

The Cyclones struck first in the second inning. Aiden Radtke (2-for-3) started with a single before Preston Lund (2-for-2) drove him home on a single. Christian Rosales came up next and hit a hard grounder that was fumbled by the Chiefs but allowed Lund to score, making it 2-0.

After being hit by a pitch in the third inning, Andrew Phelan (1-for-3) was able to score when Alejandro Munoz grounded out. Phelan scored again the next inning on a passed ball.

Xavier Aguilar helped on the mound, striking out four and allowing zero earned runs for the win.

GAME TWO
The Cyclones scored in every inning in the nightcap for a dominating 12-1 victory.
