Big hits not enough against Hawks

In a doubleheader with Harper College, the bats were on fire, however, the Cyclones dropped both games.

GAME ONE
The Cyclones held a lead starting in the fourth inning and extended it to 14-7 in the top of the seventh. A collection of Hawks' hits and Cyclone errors led to the 15-14 defeat, however.

Accumulating 20 hits this game, the big scoring came from a few player, including Christian Rosales (5-for-5, 2B, 3 RBIs), Alejandro Munoz (3-for-5, 2B, 4 RBIs), Andrew Phelan (4-for-5, 2B), Timothy O'Connell (1-for-4, 2 RBIs), Troy Vosburgh (2-for-5, 2B, RBI), Robert Kutt (1-for-3, 2B, 3 RBIs) and Ryder Johnson (2-for-3, RBI). Xavier Aguilar started this game on the mound, striking out eight over 5.2 innings.

GAME TWO
One bad inning did in the Cyclones this game. A string of hits saw the Hawks get ahead 13-0 by the bottom of the second inning. Moraine Valley finally got on the board in the fourth with a homerun from Vosburgh (2-for-3, 2 RBIs) before he added another run in the fifth on a single along with Jayden Armstrong (1-for-2, RBI) and Johnson (1-for-2, 2 RBIs), who each hit RBI doubles. However, it wasn't enough to catch up to the Hawks as the Cyclones lost 18-5.
