Big inning pushes Cyclones ahead of Panthers

In a one-off with Morton College, the Cyclones had a big six-run inning to help them put the game out of reach, winning 11-4.

Although the Panthers led 2-0 going into the third inning, the Cyclone bats came alive to tie it in the third and lead 10-2 by the seventh inning. In their big inning, Timothy O'Connell (3-for-6, 2 RBIs), Ryder Johnson (4-for-5, 3 RBIs) and Robert Kutt (1-for-4, RBI) doubled while Alejandro Munoz (2-for-4), Aiden Radtke (1-for-5, RBI), Troy Vosburgh (1-for-4, RBI), Christian Rosales (2-for-5, RBI) and Andrew Phelan (1-for-4) each singled. Johnson and O'Connell were on fire at the plate, collecting three doubles each with a collective 5 RBIs. Lucas Hicks earned the win, allowing one earned run over six innings pitched.
