Rough start to spring training

Rough start to spring training

The Cyclones began their Florida spring training against Kirkwood Community College, falling 12-2.

The final score was not indicative of how the Cyclones played. Kirkwood had a few key hits, as did Moraine Valley. It wasn't until the sixth inning when the Cyclones got on the board with two on and a double from Aiden Radtke (1-for-3) to score them both for the team to trail 4-2. The bottom of that inning was were things got rough as the Cyclones allowed eight runs to make the score lopsided.

The only other hits this game were from Preston Lund (1-for-1), Christian Rosales (1-for-3) and Ryder Johnson (1-for-3). Even though Xavier Aguilar earned the loss on the mound, he had six strikeouts.
