In their second matchup of the season with Kankakee Community College, the Cyclones fell in a tough outing.
In their first at-bat, the Cyclones went up 2-0 thanks to a single from Christian Rosales (2-for-4, RBI), walk by Niko Mastoras (1-for-1) and fielding error when Nicholas Haran (1-for-4) hit a hard grounder to score two. The Cavaliers bounded back in their first time at the plate, taking a 5-2 lead. They increased that lead for the ultimate 22-6 win.
Moraine Valley scored the rest of their runs in the sixth inning with two men on. Ayden Lasson (1-for-4, 2B, 2 RBIs) hit a long double to score both. Rosales came up next and hit an RBI single. Mastoras walked before Jack Hoh (1-for-4, 2B, RBI) hit an RBI double. The Cavaliers scored more runs after that and only allowed the Cyclones to walk without scoring.
