The Cyclones struggled in their one-game matchup with Morton College at home. They ultimately fell 17-3.

Moraine Valley had a few innings where they looked to turn things around, which included RBIs from Peter Mitchell (2-for-3, 2B) and Yashion Boswell (1-for-3, 1B, sac fly). But the Cyclones gave up too many walks and allowed the Panthers to run away with the game with a six-run inning in the first and another in the seventh.

Gilberto Hernandez had a good day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double. Daniel Rosado took the loss, giving up four hits and eight runs, striking out three.
