Looking ahead

The Cyclones are looking ahead to their more than 30 games left in the season to make improvements after they dropped a tough one to Kankakee Community College.

Moraine Valley fell behind early and struggled at the plate in their 12-2 loss to the Cavaliers. Kankakee's high-powered offense scored four runs in the first, second and fifth innings. The Cyclones got on the board in the fourth with two hits. Tyler Sinclair, Maximus Bullock and Anthony Cappiletti (1 RBI) each collected one hit. Stephen Insley and Alex Martinez scored the runs while Patrick Hayes earned the other RBI.

Andrew Tenison started the game for Moraine Valley lasting one inning, allowing two hits and four runs while walking one. Christopher Villafuerte, Jace McWilliams and Nick Easton each contributed in relief.
