Once the Cyclones took the field, they took control of the game with Bryant and Stratton College, winning the home opener 3-1.

A solid and efficient strategy led the Cyclones to an early 1-0 lead in the first half, thanks to an unassisted goal from Rachel Rosier. Shortly into the second half, Taylor London extended the lead to 2-0 before the Bobcats got on the board. London scored again before the end of the game for the win.

Madeline Walsh kept the Bobcats at bay with a strong defensive effort all game. Daisy Noemi Campos was solid in the net with six saves.
