The Cyclones won their final Skyway Conference matchup of the season with a 4-1 victory over Prairie State College.
Right from the start, Moraine Valley had control of the game, scoring all four goals in the first half. Heather Canny found the net twice while Dominica Villasenor and Alyssa Juarez scored the other two. It wasn't until later in the second half when the Pioneers finally got on the board, but by that point the Cyclones had solidified the victory.
With this final conference game, the Cyclones finished fourth among the seven colleges with teams. They still have two more region games to play before playoffs. Moraine Valley will next face South Suburban College on Oct. 22.
