The Cyclones dealt the Morton College Panthers their first conference loss after a battle at home.

Camila Barragan and Heather Canny each scored for the Cyclones despite the defensive push from the Panthers. The first half saw the most consistent and solid game the Cyclones have played this season. Moraine Valley also limited the number of chances Morton had to score in order to seal the victory.

"It was a great win, a win we needed. We knew Morton would come out hard on us, but we played great. That first half was the best of the year," said Head Coach Javier Roman.
