The Cyclones kept things tight in their latest faceoff with Rock Valley College, but a rough second half saw them fall 4-1.
Only at the nine-minute mark did the Cyclones allow a goal in the first half. Otherwise, they were able to fend off any attacks, holding them to six shots on goal and taking the same number of attempts. The second half proved to be a challenge. Within four minutes, the Golden Eagles scored again. However, the Cyclones countered with their first goal five minutes later. The battle continued, but the Golden Eagles had 10 shots on goal compared to the Cyclones' two, and netted two more in the final 15 minutes of the game.
