In an always tough matchup with conference foe Waubonsee Community College, Cyclone women's soccer fell 5-1.

Within the first few minutes, the Chiefs scored. However, the Cyclones had a few close-range shots but couldn't get them past the keeper. Moraine Valley had another scoring chance a few minutes later, but it sailed over the crossbar. Before halftime, the Chiefs scored again on a penalty kick. After halftime, the Cyclones allowed three more goals but eliminated the shutout with three minutes left in the game. A foul on the Chiefs gave the Cyclones a penalty kick, and Dyani Calderon was able to get her team on the board.
