Cyclones fall in region quarterfinals

Cyclones fall in region quarterfinals

The Cyclones entered the NJCAA Region IV quarterfinals with a fire in them. They were ready to face South Suburban College and move on in the playoffs. However, the Bulldogs didn't agree with that plan.

Moraine Valley came into the match with an overall 6-6 record while the Bulldogs were 13-2. For the first half, the Cyclone defense was on point, maintaining the energy to keep the score 0-0 by halftime but without putting one in the net themselves despite several attempts. Minutes into the second half, the Bulldogs shot one past Cyclone keeper Raneen Betouni, who held off many scoring attempts in this game. Thirty minutes later, South Suburban found the net again. The Cyclones kept pushing, but just couldn't get the ball in the net, ultimately falling 2-0 and ending their playoff run.
