It was a battle to the end for the Cyclones. Although they dropped their latest matchup to Waubonsee Community College, they held their own against the No. 8 nationally ranked team.

Throughout the first half of this game, the Cyclones defended well, in particular Aoife Finn and Alyssa Froylan kept the Chiefs at bay. A few missteps just before halftime saw the Chiefs score, putting the Cyclones down 1-0. Their energy level dipped in the second half, but the Cyclones only gave up one more goal before the end for the 2-0 loss. Larisa Milenkovski put up a good fight at the net this game, saving 12 shots.
