2020-21 Sophomore Send-off: Women’s soccer

The spring soccer season was an unusual one thanks to COVID-19, but the Cyclones were still able to get in a few games. For several sophomores, it was their last time in a Cyclone uniform. The team wishes those players all the best.

Gisselle Almazan contributed both seasons in the midfield.

Jocelyn Estrada guarded the net as goalkeeper, holding down the fort both years.

Jenifer Latoza was a leader on defense for two years as a Cyclone.

Abby Palumbo was a tough defender, earning nods to the All-Conference second team this season.

Ixchel Salgado was aggressive and fierce in the midfield both seasons.

Azury Sanchez helped her team as a forward. She signed to continue her education and soccer career at the University of Saint Francis.

Allison Schaar was the leading scorer both seasons (ranked No. 6 in the NJCAA Division I for shots in 2019), earning nods to the All-Region first team last year and All-Conference first team both seasons. She signed to continue her education and soccer career at the University of Saint Francis.

Gabby Zieba scored a few goals as a forward to help her team this year.
