Moraine Valley was strong in the first half, seeing at least four chances to score while holding off the Lancers. A minute into the second half, however, the Lancers scored, and the Cyclones put on pressure to avoid any more goals. Gabby Zieba came close to scoring a few times, and the entire team put in a strong effort to stay in this game through the end.
