The matchup between Moraine Valley and South Suburban College was tight, leading to a narrow final quarter loss.

The Cyclones led the first two quarters, battling against the Bulldogs with every possession. However, the Bulldogs had 26 points in the third quarter to the Cyclones' 16. Although Moraine Valley outscored them in the fourth quarter, it wasn't enough to eke past the Bulldogs in the 74-73 loss.

Jadea Johnson earned another double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Deniza Fuentes added 17 points and seven rebounds. Shakila Brownlow had 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
