
This was anybody's game, but the Cyclones came out ahead 77-68, thanks to a fourth quarter bump, in their battle with Waubonsee Community College.
The lead changed hands 11 times in this matchup as the score was close for most of the game. The largest lead for the Chiefs came in the first quarter – six points – while the largest for the Cyclones came in the second quarter with nine. At halftime, the score was tied 39-all. It was the 23-point fourth quarter that helped push the Cyclones ahead as they held the Chiefs to just 11 points.
Once again, Jadea Johnson led the offense with 23 points and added 14 rebounds, eight assists and five steals. Shakila Brownlow also had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Lily Hernandez contributed 14 points and led with seven steals. Deniza Fuentes added 12 points, nine of which came from three-pointers.
