In their home opener, the Cyclones earned a quick win over the visiting Harper College Hawks.

Facing his former student-athlete as the opposing head coach, Coach Delwyn Jones saw his Cyclones take control of the game from the whistle and never look back. Despite 20 turnovers, Moraine Valley was still able to push the scoring and hold back the Hawks.

Jadea Johnson continued to lead the offense with 22 points and added 12 rebounds, eight steals and six assists. Robin Stevenson added 13 points, three assists and three steals.
