Cyclones fall to Wolves to start 2024

To open up the new year, the Cyclones faced region rival Joliet Junior College and narrowly lost 75-69.

The game started slow for the Cyclones as they struggled to score in the first quarter, mustering nine points to the Wolves' 21. They were able to find their groove after that and took the lead after the third quarter. The Wolves put on the pressure and the Cyclones slowed down in the fourth quarter, suffering the loss.

Deniza Fuentes led the team with 20 points followed by Robin Stevenson with 14, who added 13 rebounds and five steals. Keyshia Armstrong added 12 points while Andrea Robertson grabbed 10 rebounds this game.
