Cyclones get back to winning

The Cyclones (10-11) got back to .500 and pulled together a solid game in an 87-63 victory over Elgin Community College (8-15).

From the start, the Cyclones jumped ahead of the Spartans, holding an early 23-7 lead. They continued a strong offensive push throughout the first half, leading 43-18 by halftime. The Cyclones led by as much as 37, thanks in part to the scoring machine Reagan Cameron, who made up for an off day Tuesday. This game saw a stronger attack from the Cyclones, who only defeated the Spartans by two in their last meeting.

Cameron led the way with 32 points and six assists. Mary Chronopoulou (17 points, 12 rebounds) and Autumn Jones (14 points, 10 rebounds) each had double-doubles while Jayla Lamb grabbed 10 boards and had three steals. Andrea Robertson added eight rebounds and five blocks for the night.
